Charlotte FC's Patrick Agyemang Joins Derby County Following Club Record Sale

MLS Charlotte FC CHARLOTTE - Charlotte FC today announced forward Patrick Agyemang has joined Derby County of the English Championship on a permanent transfer for a Club record fee. Charlotte FC also retains a sell-on percentage for Agyemang. Agyemang, 24, was selected 12th overall in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft and quickly rose through Charlotte FC's player pathway in two-and-a-half seasons with the organization. High Point Rockers Add Two Former MLB Pitchers

AtL High Point Rockers HIGH POINT, N.C. - The High Point Rockers have added a pair of veteran Major League pitchers to their roster in right-handers Gabe Klobosits and David Hess. Both players are expected to join the Rockers today in time for High Point's series opener at the York Revolution. Hess, 32, was in the Baltimore Orioles starting rotation in 2019 after having made his MLB debut vs. Tampa Bay at Camden Yards on May 12, 2018. Bishop Quarles, Andrew Steinhaus Receive Appalachian League Weekly Honors

ApL CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Appalachian League announced that Tri-State's Bishop Quarles (Florida SouthWestern State) and Burlington's Andrew Steinhaus (Radford) were named Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for the period of July 7-13. Quarles, 19, was named Player of the Week after a dominant performance on the road, hitting .440 with a 1.460 OPS, three home runs and 13 RBI over five games for the Tri-State Coal Cats.
