Express Split Double Header with Huskies

Northwoods Eau Claire Express June 24, 2021 - An extremely eventful day here at Carson Park as the Express took on Duluth in a doubleheader today. In the first game, we can't say we got what we were looking for with a final score of 4-0. The major player for the Express in game 1 was San Diego's Eddy Pelc, who pitched 6 full innings, giving up only 5 hits while striking out 4. With that game in the rearview, however, the boys in orange moved on to the 2nd game of the day looking for a win, and boy did they deliver. All in all, this game was an oddity, to say the leas... Northwoods Green Bay Booyah June 24, 2021 - ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - The Green Bay Booyah are scheduled to battle the Madison Mallards at Warner Park on Wednesday night. ApL Greeneville Flyboys June 24, 2021 - BRISTOL - The Greeneville Flyboys tallied 12 runs over the final four innings of play to win a second straight contest against the Bristol State Liners, 14-7, on Wednesday night at Boyce Cox Field. Greeneville (11-6) takes a 1.5 game lead over Bristol for first in the Appalachian League West Division with the two-game sweep of the State Liners. ApL Kingsport Axmen June 24, 2021 - PRINCETON, WV - Facing the best team in the Appalachian League, the Kingsport Axmen delivered a historic performance. The Axmen tallied a franchise-record 12 hits, cruising to a 4-1 win over Princeton Wednesday evening at H.P. Hunnicutt Field. Kingsport (7-10) pieced together timely hits and the pitching staff contained one of the top offenses in the league.
