This Week in AppleSox Baseball: Homestands, Sweeps, and Shutouts

WCL Wenatchee AppleSox June 8, 2026 - Two weeks in, and the 2026 season is already shaping up to be an exciting one. The AppleSox played the Bellingham Bells and Kamloops NorthPaws in six games this past week, and each one brought its own flair. Northwoods Richmond Flying Mummies June 8, 2026 - ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Richmond Flying Mummies (7-7) head to Rockford Monday for the first of back-to-back games against the Rivets (7-7), looking to get back on track after suffering three straight losses over the weekend. The Mummies dropped both games on Saturday and Sunday in Kenosha, 8-1 and 9-5, respectively, after previously being undefeated against the Kingfish. ApL June 8, 2026 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Appalachian League announced that Greeneville's Owen ten Oever (Indiana) and Danville's Kamden Hawks were named Player and Pitcher of the week, respectively, for the period of June 4-6. ten Oever, 18, slashed .500/.588/1.214 with a 1.803 OPS across three games for the Greeneville Flyboys en route to Player of the Week honors.
