Four All-Stars Among 27 Alumni to Take Field at Andre Dawson Classic

February 20, 2025 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Twenty-seven Appalachian League alumni are set to take the field in the 2025 Andre Dawson Classic. Former Appy League All-Stars included at this year's event are 2022 All-Stars Payton Basler, Brock Daniels and Jedier Hernandez, and 2024 All-Star Josh McDevitt. Jeremy Owens Returns as Elizabethton River Riders Manager for 2025 Season

February 4, 2025 - ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. - The River Riders announced that Jeremy Owens will return as manager for the 2025 campaign. Owens has more than 20 years of playing and coaching experience at the professional level, including serving the last three seasons as head coach with Elizabethton. Elizabethton River Riders Lead Renovation Efforts of Cat Island Baseball and Softball Fields

January 29, 2025 - ELIZABETHTON, TN - The River Riders with the aid of Boyd Sports, the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department, and a myriad of local businesses began the restoration of Cat Island Baseball and Softball Fields earlier this week. This project is to restore the fields, but also upgrade them after the significant recent flood water damage. "There are over 600 children in the Elizabethton/Carter County Baseball Association. Elizabethton River Riders Announce Schedule for 2025 Season

November 11, 2024 - ELIZABETHTON, TN - The Elizabethton River Riders today announced their 2025 baseball schedule. The River Riders will host their first home game on June 5 against the Tri-State Coal Cats. The 2025 Appalachian League season begins June 5 and runs through July 30.
