May 12, 2025 - BRISTOL, TN - The Bristol State Liners have announced their coaching staff for the Appalachian League's 2025 season. Joining manager Turner Ward will be hitting coach Scott Van Slyke, pitching coach Mike Tejera, fourth coach Chris Monroe, athletic trainer Leanna Freund, and data coordinator Cooper Ward.
The State Liners will have a new face on the coaching staff with the addition of MLB veteran Scott Van Slyke as the hitting coach.

March 6, 2025 - BRISTOL, TN - The Bristol State Liners announced Turner Ward as their manager for the 2025 season. As a long-time player and coach in Major League Baseball, Ward most recently served as the St. Louis Cardinals Hitting Coach from 2023 to 2024.
"I'm very excited to have a new challenge coaching this summer in the Appalachian League," said Ward.

January 30, 2025 - BRISTOL, TN - Boyd Sports, LLC has announced that it will assume ownership of the Bristol State Liners franchise in the Appalachian League. Boyd Sports, which also owns the Knoxville Smokies, Johnson City Doughboys, Greeneville Flyboys, Elizabethton River Riders, and manages the Kingsport Axmen will assume all business operations of the Bristol State Liners.
