Dixie Wooten Announced as Offensive Coordinator of the Bay Area Panthers

IFL Bay Area Panthers September 23, 2022 - SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Bay Area Panthers (@PanthersIFL) of the Indoor Football League (@IndoorFL) have named Dixie Wooten as the team's offensive coordinator. Wooten has won the IFL coach of the year twice and won the United Bowl in 2018 as the head coach of the Iowa Barnstormers, where he went 36-8 in three years. Wooten spent the last two years as the head coach and general manager of the Tucson Sugarskulls-last season reaching the playoffs and finishing third in the West. CFL Toronto Argonauts September 23, 2022 - TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today they have signed Canadian OL Ryan Hunter. Hunter, 27, was originally drafted by the Argos with the ninth pick of the 2018 CFL Draft but signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent that same month. IFL Tulsa Oilers September 22, 2022 - Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, announced on Monday the first player signing in franchise history, inking quarterback James Summers. Summers (28) transferred from Hinds Community College after his sophomore year, to East Carolina University playing his junior and senior seasons for the Pirates, switching positions from wide receiver to quarterback.
