Arthur Hamlin, Don Callis and Des Holmes Sign Contract Extensions

June 2, 2026 - Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced Tuesday that they have signed contract extensions with Canadian defensive back Arthur Hamlin, American defensive back Don Callis, and American offensive lineman Des Holmes. All three players have agreed to deals that run through the 2027 season. Hamlin (6'0", 190 lbs.) joined the Alouettes in 2024 after being selected 29th overall in the 2024 CFL Canadian Draft. Elks Add National Defensive Back Tyshon Blackburn

June 2, 2026 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have added National defensive back Tyshon Blackburn to the practice roster, the club announced Tuesday. Blackburn (6'2, 203) joins the Elks after spending the previous two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts. The Calgary, AB native was drafted by The Boatmen in the third round (27th overall) in the 2024 CFL National Draft after four seasons (2019-2024) with the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
