The UFL Playoff Matchups Are Set
June 1, 2026 - The UFL Playoffs begin in Daytona Beach where the Storm take on the Defenders.
The Orlando Storm secured the top seed in the UFL Playoffs and home-field advantage throughout the postseason. Standing in their way are the defending champion DC Defenders, who return to the Playoffs looking to extend their season.
After meeting in each of the final two weeks of the regular season, these familiar foes will face off for a third consecutive week-this time with a trip to the United Bowl on the line.

Atlantic League: The York (PA) Revolution of the independent Atlantic League played a game this weekend as the Big Dills in honor of the neighboring town of Dillsburg (PA) and its association with dill pickles, even though the town was named after Captain Matthew Dill who had connection to pickles. The league's Lancaster (PA) Stormers played a series this weekend as the Lebanon Ironmasters to honor the iron industry of nearby Lebanon (PA).

Stamps Select Team Captains
June 1, 2026 - The Calgary Stampeders have named quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. (offence), defensive back Derrick Moncrief (defence) and kicker Rene Paredes (special teams) as their three captains for the 2026 season.
The veteran trio, who were chosen by a vote of their teammates, have a combined 31 years of Canadian Football League playing experience.

United Football League Announces Orlando Storm Playoff Game Will be Played in Daytona Beach
June 1, 2026 - ORLANDO, Fla. - The United Football League announced today that the playoff game between the Orlando Storm and DC Defenders on Sunday, June 7, will now be played in Daytona Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida after previously announcing plans to move the game to a neutral-site venue in Columbus, Ohio. Kickoff will be at 3 p.m. ET and also air nationally on ABC.
