MONROE, THE MONROE CIVIC CENTER CHOSEN BY THE ARENA LEAGUE

December 10, 2025 - Waterloo, Iowa: The Arena League and its Commissioner, Hall-of-Famer and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown, proudly announced today that Monroe, Louisiana will be host to the leagues 8th team. Home games will be played at the Monroe Civic Center from June through August in 2026 and beyond. Monroe will play in a division along with Springfield, MO, Hot Springs, AR, and Memphis, TN. December 8, 2025 - BASEBALL Pecos League: The independent Pecos League is reported to be exploring the Grand Junction (CO) market for a proposed expansion team, unofficially called the Grand Junction Cliff Hangers. The new team would replace the independent Pioneer League's Grand Junction Jackalopes who announced plans after the 2025 season to move to a new yet-to-be-named market. Professional Indoor Football Returns To Grand Island For The 2026 Season

December 4, 2025 - Grand Island, NE: From the arena floor of the Heartland Events Center, and as part of the opening elements to the Five Points Bank Golden Club Banquet, officials from The Arena League proudly announced today that Grand Island, Nebraska has been awarded the second of it's three planned expansion teams for the 2026 season.
