March 18, 2024 - CLEVELAND, Ohio - Radim Zohorna dominated the scoresheet in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins' 5-2 win over the Cleveland Monsters on Monday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Zohorna scored a hat trick and added an assist to propel Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (31-20-8-1) to a bounceback victory after losing in overtime to Cleveland the day before. March 18, 2024 - CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Monsters fell to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 5-2 on Monday night at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. With the loss, the Monsters are now 35-19-3-3 and are currently in first place in the AHL's North Division standings. The Penguins struck first after a goal from Jagger Joshua at 5:45 of the opening frame, but Jake Gaudet converted on the man advantage at 15:11 off feeds from Owen Sillinger and Stanislav Svozil to tie the game. Professional Women's Hockey League Announces Trade Between Boston and Ottawa
March 18, 2024 - TORONTO, ON - The Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) today announced details of a trade that has been made between PWHL Boston and PWHL Ottawa. The trade sees Boston acquire forward Lexie Adzija, and the rights to forward Caitrin Lonergan, from Ottawa in exchange for forward Shiann Darkangelo. Adzija, a 23-year-old from St. Thomas, ON, was selected by Ottawa in the eleventh round of the PWHL Draft and signed a one-year contract with the team. Hage Earns Second USHL Forward of the Week Award
March 18, 2024 - GENEVA, ILLINOIS - Chicago Steel forward Michael Hage has been named USHL Forward of the Week, the league announced Monday. It marks the second time in three weeks that Hage has earned the award. The University of Michigan commit had four goals and four assists (8 pts) this past weekend in helping the Steel to three victories as they continued to battle for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
