February 15, 2019 - EVERETT, Wash. - The list of teams that have defeated both Western Hockey League conference leaders this season is not a long one.
The Red Deer Rebels, though, are on that list following a 2-1 overtime victory over the Western Conference leading Everett Silvertips Thursday. Red Deer has also defeated the Prince Albert Raiders, the Eastern Conference runaway leaders.
Thursday's triumph snapped a six-game losing streak for the Rebels, who received glowing praise from general manager/head coach Brent Sutter.

February 14, 2019 - Brandon, MB. - On a night dubbed "Winning Wednesday" the Brandon Wheat Kings scored a much needed victory at Westoba Place.
The Wheat Kings erupted for four unanswered third period goals to beat the visiting Edmonton Oil Kings 5-2.
With the win, the Wheat Kings moved to within six points of both Calgary and Red Deer - who currently occupy the final two playoff berths in the Western Hockey League's Eastern Conference.

February 14, 2019 - The Saskatoon Blades won their 5th straight game on Wednesday night, opening up a 3-game road trip with a 6-3 victory over the Medicine Hat Tigers. The win improves the Blades overall record to 35-13-8-0 on the season, already equalling their total number of wins from last season. It also extends their unbeaten streak to 11 games at 9-0-2-0. Saskatoon now holds a 10 point lead over the Moose Jaw Warriors in the East Division, and pull into a tie for 2nd in the overall standings with the Western Conference leading Everett Sil... February 13, 2019 - Swift Current, SK - Parker Kelly scored a pair of goals to lift the Prince Albert Raiders (46-7-0-2) to a 3-1 win over the Swift Current Broncos (10-39-2-2) at the Innovation Credit Union i-Plex on Wednesday night.
The multi-goal game was Kelly's sixth of the season and 13th of his career. Dante Hannoun had a goal and two assists, while Spencer Moe chipped in two assists.
