October 7, 2020 - Kamloops, BC - Forward Connor Zary has been selected in the 1st round, 24th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2020 NHL Draft. Zary had a standout 2019-20 season with 38 goals, 48 assists and 86 points in 57 games. He was named to the WHL's Western Conference First All-Star team. September 28, 2020 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers will be hosting a one-day hockey camp on Friday, October 23rd at McArthur Island Sports Centre. The camp will be instructed by Head Coach Shaun Clouston and 2019/20 WHL Western Conference Rookie of the Year Logan Stankoven. August 25, 2020 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have signed defenseman Ryan Michael to a standard WHL player agreement. Michael was selected by the Blazers in the third round, 62nd overall in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft in April.
