Andrew Petruk Clears WHL Waivers

WHL Kelowna Rockets June 13, 2025 - KELOWNA, BC - The Kelowna Rockets have announced that 20-year-old forward Andrew Petruk has cleared WHL waivers and will not return to the team for the 2025-26 season. Petruk, a Surrey, BC native, appeared in 25 games for the Rockets after being acquired from the Everett Silvertips in January 2025, recording one goal and three assists for four points. WHL Kelowna Rockets May 8, 2025 - The Kelowna Rockets had a busy second day of the Western Hockey League Prospects Draft, as the Rockets made eight selections on the day, including a pair of picks in the second round. With their first pick of the second round with the 26 th pick, Kelowna selected defenceman Remy Koch out of Edge School U15 Prep. Rockets Select McDevitt and Lee in U.S. Priority Draft

WHL Kelowna Rockets May 8, 2025 - The Kelowna Rockets made a pair of selections in the 2025 U.S. Priority Draft on Thursday, selecting forwards Drew McDevitt and Ryan Lee. With their first pick of the day at ninth overall, Kelowna selected McDevitt from California Goldrush HC 14U. In the 2024-25 season, McDevitt suited up in 55 games where he scored 44 goals and added 30 assists for 74 points, which ranked first on the team in both goals and points.
