Stone Ready to Lead the Vees
June 11, 2026 - Following the departure of 20-year-old Nolan Stevenson, the Penticton Vees have appointed Callum Stone the second captain of the Vees WHL franchise.
Stone enters his third season with the Vees in 2026-27 after being one of five players to make the jump with the organization from the BCHL to the WHL last year.
The Vees defenceman says he was thrilled to find out he was going to wear the "C" for the team this season.

Vees Acquire Player Rights to Graham Jones
May 26, 2026 - PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees announced a trade today with the Victoria Royals. The Vees receive the playing rights to 2007-born, Canadian forward, Graham Jones and a 2026 2nd round pick in the CHL Import Draft. In return, the Vees have moved a 2029 4th round pick, a 2030 3rd round pick and their 1st round pick in the 2026 CHL Import Draft to the Victoria Royals.

Vees Sign Nate Pederson
May 25, 2026 - PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees announced today the signing of 2008-born American forward Nate Pederson.
Pederson is coming off his first full season in the USHL as a 17-year-old with the Lincoln Stars, where he put up eight goals and 21 assists in 58 games. He registered 52 points in 27 games with Shakopee High in the Minnesota High School league in 2025-26 and also put up 22 points in 20 games in the UMHSEHL.
The Shakopee, MN native was taken 12th overall in the USHL Draft in 2024.

Vees Sign Trio
May 19, 2026 - PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees announced today the signing of Canadian forward Liam Bordt. Bordt was selected in the first round, 20th overall, by the Vees in the WHL Prospects Draft last week.
The Langley, BC native spent the 2025-26 season with NAX in the CSSHL U15 Prep league registering a combined 24 goals and 24 assists in 29 games-played in the regular season.
