Vees Sign 2007-Born Forward Gavin Katz

May 1, 2026 - The Penticton Vees announced today the signing of American forward Gavin Katz. He will join the team starting next season, his 19-year-old year. Katz spent the 2025-26 season with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL registering 30 goals and 27 assists in 60 games played in the regular season. His 30 goals were tied for seventh most in the USHL. Vees Season Comes to an End with Game 4 Loss

April 29, 2026 - Penticton, BC - The Penticton Vees were unable to comeback from two quick third period goals from the Everett Silvertips leading to a 4-2 defeat in game 4. The Silvertips win the series in four games. Nolan Stevenson got things going for the Vees 15:33 into the opening frame giving the Vees the 1-0 lead after 20 minutes.
