June 25, 2026 - Sean Burick didn't take the traditional sports route in his family, town, or even State growing up. Now, the towering defenseman is just a handful of hours away from hearing his name called at the NHL entry Draft.
The San Clemente, CA native is ranked 99th overall among North American skaters heading into the 2026 NHL Entry Draft, which kicks off on Friday and continues throughout Saturday.

June 18, 2026 - The Vees got a huge boost between the pipes when it was announced star goaltender AJ Reyelts would return to Penticton for his 20-year-old season.
Reyelts was named a Goaltender of the Year finalist in the 2025-26 season racking up 29 regular season wins along with eight more in the postseason. He sported a 2.45 goals against average which was third best in the WHL along with a .906 save percentage.
The Proctor, MN native talked about what drew him back to Penticton for his final junior season.

June 17, 2026 - PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees announced today the signing of 2006-born Canadian defenceman Ronan Buckberger. The 20-year-old will be out until early 2027 while he recovers from an injury sustained last season.
The Saskatoon, SK native suited up in 44 games for the Madison Capitals of the USHL last season picking up seven goals and 18 assists, his second season with Madison.
Prior to joining the Capitals, Buckberger spent time with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs of the BCHL and the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL. He also p... Full Story
June 11, 2026 - Following the departure of 20-year-old Nolan Stevenson, the Penticton Vees have appointed Callum Stone the second captain of the Vees WHL franchise.
Stone enters his third season with the Vees in 2026-27 after being one of five players to make the jump with the organization from the BCHL to the WHL last year.
The Vees defenceman says he was thrilled to find out he was going to wear the "C" for the team this season.
