Wenatchee Defenseman Tait Named to Hockey Canada U18 Men's Summer Training Camp

July 22, 2026 - WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the Western Hockey League (WHL), are excited to announce that 2009-born defenseman Boston Tait has been selected to Hockey Canada's national Under-18 Men's Summer Training Camp as part of Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence. Tait was one of just 27 players and only nine defensemen chosen to participate in the camp. Wenatchee Alumnus Emerson Signs First Professional Contract with AHL's Abbotsford Canucks

July 17, 2026 - ABBOTSFORD, British Columbia - The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the Western Hockey League (WHL), are pleased to announce that alumnus Quinn Emerson has signed his first professional contract, joining the American Hockey League's Abbotsford Canucks for the 2026-27 season on a one-year contract. Wild Draft Picks McMillan, Morrison Eligible to Play 34 Games in 2026-27 WHL Season

July 15, 2026 - WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the Western Hockey League (WHL), are excited to announce that 2011-born forward Parker McMillan and defenseman Jevin Morrison will be eligible to play 34 games during the 2026-27 season under Hockey Canada's Western Canadian Development Model (WCDM). July 14, 2026 - WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the Western Hockey League (WHL), are excited to announce that 2010-born forwards Kalen Miles and Riley Brown have been invited to take part in Hockey Canada's national Under-17 Development Camp as part of Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence.
