Phantoms Sign Oleksiienko to USHL Standard Player Development Agreement
June 7, 2026 - YOUNGSTOWN, OH - The Youngstown Phantoms have announced the signing of goaltender Nikita Oleksiienko to a United States Hockey League Standard Player Development Agreement for the 2026-27 season.
Oleksiienko, a 2008-born goaltender from Dnipro, Ukraine, is regarded as one of the top netminding prospects in his age group. A technically sound and highly competitive goaltender, Oleksiienko combines athleticism, composure, and strong puck-tracking ability to consistently give his team a chance to win.

June 6, 2026 - The North American Hockey League (NAHL) announced today that the Rochester Jr. Americans have been granted inactive status by the NAHL Board of Governors for the 2026-27 season. As a result, the team will not participate in league competition during the upcoming season.

Shamrocks Sign Wisconsin Product Lucas Franz to Tender Agreement
June 6, 2026 - Watertown, SD - The Watertown Shamrocks are pleased to announce the signing of forward Lucas Franz to a tender agreement for the 2026-27 season.
Franz spent this past season competing for Waukesha High School and Team Wisconsin. For Waukesha, Franz netted 16 goals and 16 assists, both team bests, in 24 games. With Team Wisconsin 16U AAA, Franz added 12 goals and 19 total points, ranking second on the team in both categories, in 23 contests.

Jack Pridham Announces Commitment to University of Denver Pioneers
June 6, 2026 - Kitchener, ON - Jack Pridham announced today his commitment to the University of Denver and Denver Pioneers for the 2026-27 season. The overage forward completed his junior hockey career earning the Ed Chynoweth Trophy as the leading scorer in the Memorial Cup guiding Kitchener to their third Memorial Cup Trophy in team history.
