Back and Forth Battle Ends in Shootout Loss for Herd
February 19, 2026 - The final road trip through the province of Quebec started with a strange one for the Mooseheads who showed up in Gatineau with plenty of offense but not enough attention to detail on the defensive end in a 6-5 shootout loss to the lowly Olympiques.
Gatineau entered the night as one-of-two teams out of a playoff spot in the 18-team QMJHL circuit but they rallied back to defeat the Moose thanks to a pair of third period goals 38 seconds apart that erased a 5-3 Halifax lead and forced extra time. Barnes' First OHL Goal Gives Spirit Last-Second Win over Sudbury
February 19, 2026 - Saginaw, Mich. - The Saginaw Spirit hosted the Sudbury Wolves for their second and final meeting of the season on Thursday night. Despite a late third-period deficit, the Spirit would rally with captain Dima Zhilkin leading the way with the equalizer, and Blake Barnes serving as hero with his first career OHL goal.
The goaltenders stole the first period, with Stepan Shurygin stopping nine shots for the Spirit, and Paolo Frasca stopping five for the Wolves.

Hat Tricks, Rebels Clash in Crucial Home-And-Home Series
February 19, 2026 - The Hat Tricks and Philadelphia Rebels square off in a pivotal home-and-home series this weekend. Friday night's matchup begins at 7:30PM at the Hollydell Ice Arena before the series shifts to the Danbury Ice Arena on Saturday at 7:00PM.

Rockets Play Division Rival Blazers Twice in Battle of B.C.
February 19, 2026 - The Kelowna Rockets and the Kamloops Blazers face off twice this weekend in a pivotal Western Conference matchup with just four points separating the teams in the standings. The Rockets travel to Kamloops on Friday for a 7:00 p.m. PST game, which will be available for free on Victory+ and 104.7 The Lizard.
