July 25, 2024 - Swift Current, SK - The Swift Current Broncos have acquired overage defenseman Eric Johnston from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for a third-round WHL Prospects Draft pick in 2028.
In three full seasons in the WHL, Johnston has appeared in 192 games, scoring 10 times and adding 40 assists. Last season, the 6'0ââ¬Â³ defender was named the 48th captain in the history of the Raiders franchise.

July 16, 2024 - Calgary, AB - Hockey Canada has announced that Broncos defenseman Peyton Kettles has been named to the selection camp roster for the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
As part of Canada's National Men's Summer Under-18 Team selection camp, 41 players - four goaltenders, 12 defencemen and 25 forwards - have been invited to compete to represent Canada at the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Edmonton.
This is the second time the Winnipeg, MB native has had an opportunity to represent his country, after appearing in seven games for Canada... Full Story
July 5, 2024 - Seattle, WA - It's been a whirlwind week for Swift Current Broncos forward Clarke Caswell.
The Brandon, MB native was selected 141st overall by the Seattle Kraken during day two of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday and is now fully immersed in his first NHL Development Camp at the Kraken Community Ice Plex.
Caswell, who watched the draft at home with his parents, grandparents, siblings, and billet family from Swift Current said he wasn't nervous as he watched the draft unfold.

July 3, 2024 - Swift Current, SK - The Swift Current Broncos added two new faces to the organization during Tuesday's CHL Import Draft.
With the 50th pick the Broncos selected 2006-born defenseman Adam Král from Liberec Bili Tygri Jr. in Czechia.
Král, who stands 6'2" and weighs 181 lbs appeared in 25 games with the Czech National Team, including five games at the 2024 IIHF Men's U18 World Championship.
In 50 games with his Liberec club team, Král scored six times and added 13 assists for 19 points.
