Barrie Tops Sudbury, 3-1
October 6, 2024 - The Wolves visited Barrie on Saturday night to square off against the Colts for the second time already in this young season. Previously, Barrie bested Sudbury on the road 3-1 and sought to grab another win Saturday, amidst their two-game losing skid. The two rivals will see each other soon enough for a back-to-back November 8th and 9th, two of 4 total meetings in November. October 5, 2024 - It was Owen Sound that jumped out to an early 2-0 first period lead in this game with goals by Declan Waddick and Jake Crawford. Adrian Misaljevic's second of the season cut the deficit in half before heading into the first intermission. October 5, 2024 - FLINT - Seven Firebirds came away with a point, Nathan Day made 23 saves on 25 shots, and Kaden Pitre scored the game-winning goal in overtime, securing a 3-2 win for the Flint Firebirds over the Sarnia Sting on Saturday night at the Dort Financial Center. October 5, 2024 - The Spitfires travelled to Brantford for a matchup with the Bulldogs. It was a closely contested battle but the Spitfires were able to fight off the Bulldogs attack and take a crucial two points away from a good Brantford team with a 5-1 win. In the first period, the Spitfires dominated the possession and the pace of play. They were able to score the games first goal as Nesbitt got the puck to Greentree and he shot the puck for a rebound and Protas picked it up and put it in the goal.
