114 Players Selected During the 2026 CHL Import Draft

June 30, 2026 - TORONTO, ON - The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) is proud to announce the results of the 2026 CHL Import Draft. In its 35th edition - and the second to feature three rounds - 114 players were selected from 13 countries, including 71 forwards, 32 defencemen, and 11 goaltenders. Steelheads Select a Goalie and Forward in 2026 CHL Import Draft

June 30, 2026 - BRAMPTON, ON - The Brampton Steelheads added two highly regarded international prospects to the organization on Wednesday during the 2026 CHL Import Draft, selecting Finnish goaltender Oskari Ahmajarvi with the seventh overall pick and Russian forward Stepan Kuryachenkov with the 68th overall selection. Ahmajarvi, a 6-foot, 181-pound goaltender from Nurmijärvi Finland, was selected seventh overall after an impressive 2025-26 campaign with Kiekko-Espoo U20 where he posted a 2.34 GAA and .910 SV%. Rogowski Invited to Team USA World Junior Summer Showcase

June 30, 2026 - Oshawa, ON - It was announced today that Oshawa Generals Forward Brooks Rogowski has been invited to the Team USA World Junior Summer Showcase. Just this past weekend, Brooks was drafted 33rd overall by the Vancouver Canucks. Now, he will get the chance to show off his talents as he looks to earn a spot on the USA World Junior roster. Firebirds Select Martins Klaucans and Tomas Selic at CHL Import Draft

June 30, 2026 - FLINT - The Flint Firebirds made two selections during Tuesday's CHL Import Draft. Flint used the 28th overall pick on Latvian forward Martins Klaucans and then selected Slovakian forward Tomas Selic with the 43rd pick. The Firebirds acquired the 28th overall pick from the Kingston Frontenacs as part of a swap that included multiple future CHL Import and OHL Priority Selection draft picks.
