Sarnia Sting Acquire Logan Hawery from London Knights
December 28, 2025 - The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club announced today that the team has acquired centerman Logan Hawery from the London Knights in exchange for forward Ryan Brown.
Hawery, 17, was selected by the Knights in the first round (20th overall) of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. In his rookie season in the Ontario Hockey League, Hawery appeared in 33 games, recording nine goals and three assists for 12 points. He has played 34 games this season, totaling three goals and seven assists for 10 points.

December 8, 2025 - Sarnia Sting General Manager, Dylan Seca, announced this afternoon that the Hockey Club has acquired defenceman Hunter Solomon and a package of draft selections including a 2nd round pick in 2026 (KGN), a 3rd round pick in 2029 (SOO), a 4th round pick in 2027 (PET), a 4th round pick in 2028 (SOO) and a 6th round pick in 2027 (OSH) from the Sault Ste. Sarnia Sting Name Mathieu Turcotte as Head Coach
November 24, 2025 - The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club is proud to announce the hiring of Mathieu Turcotte as the organization's next Head Coach.
Turcotte brings extensive coaching experience from the QMJHL, Hockey Canada and elite development programs. Most recently, he served as Head Coach of the Blainville Boisbriand Armada for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. His QMJHL background also includes assistant coaching roles with the Drummondville Voltigeurs, the Chicoutimi Sagueneens and the Val d'Or Foreurs.

Sarnia Sting Complete Trade with Erie Otters
November 23, 2025 - Sarnia Sting General Manager, Dylan Seca, announced this afternoon that the Hockey Club has acquired forward Tyler Challenger from the Erie Otters in exchange for forward Kase Kamzik.
