Sting Rookie Jacob Perreault Among 66 Canadians to Compete at Under 17 Challenge

October 16, 2018 - CALGARY, Alta. - Hockey Canada announced its 66-player roster selected to represent Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, set for Nov. 3-10 in Saint John and Quispamsis, N.B. Among those invited is Sarnia Sting rookie forward Jacob Perreault and for good reason. The 5'11" 195lbs winger has proven to have a scoring touch early in his OHL career with the Sting, notching 5 goals and 2 assists in just 9 games played. Mississauga Uses Big First to Down Sting

October 14, 2018 - The Sarnia Sting hosted the Mississauga Steelheads on Sunday afternoon. It was the third game of a weekend three-in-three for both sides. As such, things could have gone either way today. In the first period, the Steelheads struck first. Second-year defenceman Thomas Harley scored a powerplay goal from the top of the right circle. October 13, 2018 - The Sarnia Sting hosted the Guelph Storm on Saturday night. It was the second meeting of the season between these two Western conference rivals. After a wild finish at the Sleeman Centre last week, these two were back for another round at Progressive Auto Sales Arena. Guelph got off to a quick start this evening, scoring just two minutes in.
