Express Bouncing Back

September 19, 2019 - (WINDSOR, ON) - The Express are bouncing back this season. Beginning with training camp this December, the Windsor Express will commence play in its eighth campaign with a 36-game schedule. The League's season will start on December 26, 2019, and will conclude on April 18, 2020. The NBLC will release the full schedule at the end of September. Bell Returns as Voice of the Spitfires

September 6, 2019 - (Windsor, ON) - Veteran broadcaster Steve Bell is returning as the "Voice of the Spitfires", handling play-by-play duties on the club's flagship station, AM800 CKLW. He takes over for Mike Miller, who assumed the role for more than 10 seasons back in 2008. Miller was forced to retire late last season due to lingering vocal cord issues. White Rides Big Second to Win over Blue

August 29, 2019 - (Windsor, ON) - Team White erupted for all six of its goals in the second period en route to a 6- 5 win over Team Blue in our annual Blue-White game on Thursday night at the WFCU Centre. Trailing 2-0 after twenty minutes, Team White tied the game with a pair of goals from Matt Carvalho and Chris Playfair in a stretch of just 67 seconds. Staios Traded to Hamilton

August 26, 2019 - (Windsor, ON) - Defenceman Nathan Staios has been traded to the Hamilton Bulldogs, general manager Bill Bowler has announced. In exchange, the Spitfires will receive up to five draft picks: London's 2nd in 2020, Barrie's 2nd in 2021 and Oshawa's 2nd in 2022, along with a pair of conditional picks (Hamilton's 3rd in 2023 and 5th in 2024).
