Gerry DiCunzolo Named East Division Academic Player of the Month

February 27, 2026 - (Peterborough, ON) - The Ontario Hockey League announced today that Petes first year forward Gerry DiCunzolo has been named the East Division's Academic Player of the Month for February. DiCunzolo achieved an 86% average in Grade 11 studies through University of Nebraska High School. His courseload has included English, Precalculus - Trigonometry and Economics. Petes Lose Shootout Heartbreaker in Windsor

February 26, 2026 - (Windsor, ON) - On Thursday, February 26, the Peterborough Petes began their three game road trip in Windsor, taking on the Windsor Spitfires. Matthew Soto scored in the third period to tie the game, but Windsor would ultimately win in a shootout by a score of 4-3. Kieron Walton led the way for the Petes, scoring and adding an assist, while Aiden Young picked up two assists. Novotny Scores Twice in Overtime Win over First Place Bulldogs

February 22, 2026 - (Peterborough, ON) - On Sunday, February 22, the Peterborough Petes hosted the first place Brantford Bulldogs in front of their 20th sell out of the season at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. The game was the Petes annual Talk Today Mental Health Awareness game in partnership with CMHA Haliburton, Kawarth, Pine Ridge. Rye Picks up League Leading 31st Win in Brampton

February 20, 2026 - (Brampton, ON) - On Friday, February 20, the Peterborough Petes were in Brampton to take on the Brampton Steelheads for the final time this season. The Petes scored two empty net goals late in the third period to win the game by a score of 4-1. Kieron Walton led the way for the Petes, scoring once and adding two assists.
