Rye Stops 37 in Shootout Win over First Place Rangers
February 16, 2026 - (Peterborough, ON) - On Monday, February 16, the Peterborough Petes hosted the Western Conference leading Kitchener Rangers in front of their 18th sold-out crowd of the season for their annual Next Gen game presented by Tim Hortons, in support of Five Counties Children's Centre.
At a press conference before the game, in partnership with Five Counties Children's Centre, the Petes announced the signing of the following Next Gen Staff to one-day contracts:

Carter Picks up Two Assists in Road Loss to Oshawa
February 13, 2026 - (Peterborough, ON) - On Friday, February 13, the Peterborough Petes were in Oshawa to take on the rival Oshawa Generals. The Generals won the game by a score of 8-4.
Leon Kolarik led the way for the Petes with a goal and an assist, giving him eight points in his last four games. Newly signed defenceman Holden Carter grabbed his first OHL point in the loss, picking up two assists in his second career game. Walton, Novotný Pick up Four Points Each in Petes Win over First Place 67's
February 12, 2026 - (Peterborough, ON) - On Thursday, February 12, the Peterborough Petes hosted the first place Ottawa 67's in front of their 17th sold-out crowd of the season. The game was presented by Gravity Group, in support of BGC Kawarthas. The Petes exploded for five goals in the second period, ultimately winning the game by a score of 7-3.

Petes Sign Defenceman Holden Carter to OHL Standard Player Agreement
February 10, 2026 - (Peterborough, ON) - Peterborough Petes General Manager and Vice President of Operations Michael Oke announced today that the Petes have signed defenceman Holden Carter to an OHL Standard Player Agreement.
"Holden is a mobile defenceman with good size," noted Oke. "He keeps a strong gap between attacking players and makes smart, quick passes to advance the puck."
