Petes Launching Goal of the Year Bracket Challenge on Tuesday

July 7, 2020 - (Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes scored 250 goals over the course of the 2019-20 season, and now they're asking fans to choose the best one. In a bracket-style challenge, fans will be asked to cast their vote for what they think is the better goal in a head-to-head match up that will be posted each day on the Petes' social media channels. June 30, 2020 - (Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes selected Brian Zanetti and Kaspars Ziemiņš in the 2020 CHL Import Draft on Tuesday with the 35th and 62nd overall selections. Zanetti, a 6'2", 172lbs defenceman, played for HC Lugano U-20 Elit in Switzerland for the 2019-20 season. The 2003-born Switzerland native recorded 8 goals and 19 assists for 27 points in 38 games. June 29, 2020 - (Peterborough, ON) - Peterborough Petes General Manager Mike Oke announced Monday that the team will make two selections in the 2020 CHL Import Draft that is set to take place at 11:00am Eastern on Tuesday, June 30. June 24, 2020 - (Calgary, AB) - Hockey Canada announced today that Peterborough Petes prospects Donovan McCoy, Sam Alfano, Justin DeZoete, and Shawn Ramsey are four of 113 players invited to its virtual national under-17 development camp, set for July 19-25.
