Seven OHL Alumni Named to Canada's 2025 Spengler Cup Roster

December 24, 2025 - The Ontario Hockey League is well represented on Hockey Canada's 2025 Spengler Cup roster, the tournament is set for Dec. 26-31 in Davos, Switzerland. Seven former OHL players were named to Canada's National Men's Team roster, while former OHL Coach of the Year Drew Bannister will serve as an assistant coach. Reid Signs with Clarkson Golden Knights

December 23, 2025 - ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Niagara IceDogs forward Hayden Reid has committed to the Clarkson Golden Knights and will continue his hockey career in the NCAA following his OHL career. Reid, a native of Clarington, Ont., was selected by the IceDogs in the third round, 50th overall, of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. IceDogs Forward Cole Cooksey Joins Toronto Patriots of the OJHL

December 17, 2025 - The Niagara IceDogs forward Cole Cooksey has joined the Toronto Patriots of the Ontario Junior Hockey League after 21 games with the team. Cooksey scored two goals in his time with the team and contributed an effective two-way style of play. Cooksey was originally drafted in the first round of the 2022 OHL U18 Draft by the Sarnia Sting.
