April 7, 2026 - ST CATHARINES, ONT - Following the conclusion of the Niagara IceDogs season, the Vancouver Canucks have assigned IceDogs star forward Riley Patterson to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Abbotsford Canucks, for the remainder of the season. IceDogs Captain Ethan Czata Reassigned to Syracuse Crunch

April 7, 2026 - ST CATHARINES, ONT - The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned IceDogs captain Ethan Czata to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League. Czata, 18, joins the Crunch, who sit in eighth place in the AHL and have five games remaining in the 2025-26 season, and was drafted in the second round (56th overall) in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft by the Lightning. April 1, 2026 - ST. CATHARINES, ONT - The Niagara IceDogs, alongside the Hyland family, are proud to come together and donate $1,000 to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara. The money donated from the IceDogs, alongside Tim and Karol Hyland, will be used towards the adoption fees for two canine companions from the Humane Society of Greater Niagara (HSGN).
