Forge FC Confirms Departure of Defender Malik Owolabi-Belewu
December 4, 2025 - HAMILTON, ONT. - Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) confirms today that defender Malik Owolabi-Belewu is departing the club.
Owolabi-Belewu, 23, joined Forge on April 8, 2022, and made 87 appearances across the CPL, TELUS Canadian Championship and Concacaf Champions Cup over four seasons. The left-sided centre-back was an important part of a Forge side that captured CPL Playoff Championships in 2022 and 2023 and secured the CPL Shield as Regular Season Winners in 2024 and 2025.

Tiger-Cats Add to Defensive Front with Four Signings
December 1, 2025 - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has re-signed Canadian defensive lineman Kail Dava and American linebacker Ryan Meed. The club also announced the signings of American defensive tackle Branson Deen and American defensive lineman Maalik Hall.

November 28, 2025 - Oshawa, ON - The Toronto Rock (0-1) came up just short in the fourth quarter allowing the Oshawa FireWolves (1-0) to come back in the late going to escape with an 8-7 win in their first ever game at Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa.

November 28, 2025 - HAMILTON, ONT. - Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) announced Friday the club has selected Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) defender Noah Bickford (first-round, eighth overall) and Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS) midfielder Maxime Bourgeois (second-round, fifteenth overall) in the 2026 CPL-U SPORTS Draft.
