Boost the Community Challenge Practice
January 13, 2026 - The Storm hosted the Booster Juice 'Boost the Community Challenge' winners, the U11 A Guelph Gryphons. The team took part in a personalized practice led by Storm Assistant Coach Scott Simmonds and Storm players Rowan Topp, Noah Jenken, Chris Soares, and Mykhailo Haponenko. Following the practice, everyone enjoyed a Booster Juice and took part in a behind-the-scenes dressing room tour.

6 Storm Players Ranked on NHL Central Scouting Mid-Season Rankings
January 12, 2026 - The 2026 NHL Central Scouting Mid-Season rankings have been unveiled, and it feature six Storm players.
Storm goaltender comes in at 10th on the North American goaltender list, making him the highest-ranked goaltender in the Ontario Hockey League. Carter Stevens leads the way for Storm players ranked on the North American skaters list at 54th, followed by Layne Gallacher at 62nd. Rylan Singh, Eric Frossard, and Illia Shybinskyi are closely ranked at 144, 151, and 185, respectively.

Layne Gallacher Added to Western Conference Roster for Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game
January 12, 2026 - The Ontario Hockey League announced Tuesday that Guelph Storm forward Layne Gallacher has been added to the Western Conference roster for the upcoming Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game that takes place on Wednesday, January 14, in Peterborough.
The 6-foot-1, 180Ib. Brooklin, ONT., will replace teammate Carter Stevens, who is currently injured.
