5 Former Stormers to Compete in the NHL's 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs
April 20, 2026 - A total of 5 Former Stormers are set to compete in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, part of a CHL-leading presence that continues to shape the NHL's biggest stage. The list includes Jason Dickinson (EDM), Drew Doughty (LAK), Robby Fabbri (MIN), Nick Suzuki (MTL), and Sean Durzi (UTA).
In all, 190 graduates of the Canadian Hockey League will take part in the postseason, accounting for more than 45 percent of the 417 players competing, the highest total of any development league in the world.

6 Storm Players Listed on 2026 NHL Central Scouting Final Draft Rankings
April 16, 2026 - A total of 6 Guelph Storm players have been included in NHL Central Scouting's Final Draft Rankings for the 2026 NHL Draft.
Zach Jovanovski is 12th overall among North American goaltenders. Eric Frossard leads the way for Storm skaters ranked 68th overall after a strong second season with the team. Carter Stevens follows at 85th overall, and Layne Gallacher ranked 119th. First year forward, Illia Shybinskyi ranks 181st overall, followed by Rylan Singh at 201.

2025/2026 Alternate Jersey Auction Set
April 14, 2026 - The Guelph Storm are auctioning off the 2025/2026 black alternate jerseys.
The black alternate jerseys, which launched in November 2024, feature crimson and white horizontal striping to match the logo. The trim of the player numbers features a metallic silver fabric, making the numbers pop on the black and crimson colouring. The design includes a new secondary logo on the shoulders, an "S" with a lightning effect, and a puck in the centre which was also seen on the 2024 Pink the Rink jerseys.... Nick Suzuki Becomes the First Former Stormer to Reach 100 Points in a Single NHL Season
April 13, 2026 - On Sunday, April 13th, Nick Suzuki became the first former Storm player to reach the 100 NHL point milestone in a single season. He also earned himself a spot in the Montreal Canadiens' history books as he became the fifth player in their franchise history to accomplish the feat.
Nick suited up for 29 regular-season games with the Storm, where he registered 49 points (12-37-49), adding another 24 playoff games.
