Barrie Colts Battle to 4-2 Win over Brampton Steelheads at CAA Centre
March 4, 2026 - The Barrie Colts kicked off the morning at the CAA Centre with a 4-2 win over the Brampton Steelheads in a tightly contested matchup.
Barrie struck early in the first period, with Brad Gardiner opening the scoring, assisted by Ben Wilmott and Calvin Crombie. Barrie Colts Host Annual Country Night Saturday vs. North Bay Battalion
March 2, 2026 - The Barrie Colts return to home ice on Saturday, March 7th for their annual Country Night, presented this year in partnership with Herberts Western Wear. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Sadlon Arena.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the Horsepower Sports Bar welcoming fans beginning at 5:00 p.m. for pre-game festivities and remaining open post-game.

Barrie Colts Sign Phillip Shargorodsky
March 2, 2026 - The Barrie Colts Hockey Club announced today the signing of forward Phillip Shargorodsky to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Shargorodsky brings a strong combination of size, pace, and hockey IQ to the Colts' lineup. A highly competitive presence, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to create time and space with the puck while generating scoring chances in key moments.
