April 10, 2026 - Kitchener, Ont. - Haeden Ellis was a one-man wrecking crew in the second period, opening the scoring two minutes into the middle frame, and then doubling Kitchener's lead with his second of the game and these playoffs. Quinn McKenzie got the Greyhounds back in the game with a short side wrister that found its way over the left shoulder of Christian Kirsch.

Round Two Series Preview: Kitchener Rangers vs. Soo Greyhounds
April 9, 2026 - Kitchener, ON - The Kitchener Rangers advanced to the second round after defeating the Saginaw Spirit in four games on April 2nd, closing out the series with a 5-1 victory in Game. They are now set to face the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference, the Soo Greyhound. Game 1 is scheduled for Friday, April 10th, with puck drop at 7:00 p.m. at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.

Head Coach Jussi Ahokas Named Finalist for OHL Coach of the Year
April 8, 2026 - TORONTO - The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) today announced finalists for the Matt Leyden Trophy, presented annually to the OHL Coach of the Year as voted by the League's General Managers.
Team nominees were required to receive 20% of the vote from General Managers within their own conference to advance to the final ballot as award finalists.
This year's Matt Leyden Trophy finalists include:
