CFL Approves Rule Changes Designed to Improve Player Safety

May 23, 2018 - TORONTO - Rule changes designed to improve player health and safety and eliminate illegal contact as a challengeable play will be in place when the Canadian Football League (CFL) kicks off its regular season next month. The league's Board of Governors has now approved the changes which were first proposed by the CFL's Rules Committee earlier this year. Winnipeg Blue Bombers Agree to Terms with Canadian Defensive Tackle

May 22, 2018 - WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has agreed to terms with Canadian defensive tackle Jake Thomas. Thomas has spent the previous six seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, making 75 defensive tackles and ten sacks in 101 games played (25 starts). May 22, 2018 - WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has signed international wide receivers Kenbrell Thompkins and Rueben Randle, and International defensive back Robert Priester. Thompkins (6'1, 198, Cincinnati, July 29, 1988 in Miami, FL.) signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
