December 1, 2023 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks are bringing back Canadians Tanner Green (FB) and Josiah Schakel (LB) on two-year deals, the club announced Friday.
As the longest serving member of the Edmonton Elks, the 30-year-old Green returns for his sixth season with the Green and Gold. A fourth round pick by Edmonton in the 2018 CFL Draft, the Lacombe, AB., product has appeared in 59 regular season games with the Elks, recording 60 special teams tackles, nine receptions, and two receiving touchdowns.

November 30, 2023 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced Thursday the signing of National defensive back Bruno Lagacé.
A seventh round pick by the Elks in the 2023 CFL draft, Lagacé returned to the Montreal Carabins for the 2023 season, helping them capture the 58th Vanier Cup this past weekend. The Boucherville, QC., native appeared in 35 career games for Montreal, where he had 90 total tackles, five interceptions, four tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries. November 29, 2023 - The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed American quarterback Tommy Stevens.
Stevens has served as the Stamps' short-yardage quarterback for the past two seasons and produced a team-leading 15 rushing touchdowns during that period. The Indianapolis native has dressed for all 36 regular-season games and both playoff contests since joining the Red and White in 2022.
