Stampeders Mourn Death of Mike Labinjo

September 22, 2018 - It is with great sadness the Stampeders learn of the death of alumnus Mike Labinjo. He was 38. "We are deeply saddened to learn of Mike's death," said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel. "He was a big man with a big personality to match and he was a key part of our Grey Cup championship team in 2008. The team offers its condolences to Mike's family and friends." Alouettes Extend Defensive Back Tommie Campbell for Two Years

September 20, 2018 - Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced on Thursday that the club has signed a two-year deal with international defensive back Tommie Campbell. The 31 year-old Aliquippa, PA native will remain under contract with the Alouettes for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Campbell (6'3'', 203 lbs.) was signed as a free agent by the Alouettes in February 2018 after having spent two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders.
