January 26, 2026 - TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today they have extended the contract of Canadian LB Cam Judge and signed American RB Sam Hicks and American DB Owen Goss.
Judge (6'0"/230lbs) came back to the Argos via trade with Calgary last January and turned in an outstanding season, being nominated for Toronto's Most Outstanding Defensive Player. January 26, 2026 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive lineman Justin (J.J.) Weaver.
Weaver (6'5-241) signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in July of 2025 and attended training camp with the team.
He spent six collegiate seasons (2019-2024) at the University of Kentucky, suiting up for 58 games and 39 starts. Dolegala, 29, re-joined the Tiger-Cats in June 2025 and suited up for 13 games, recording 22 carries for 50 yards and one touchdown. January 26, 2026 - Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced today the signing of American running back Travis Theis to a two-year contract (2026-2027). The team has also reached an agreement with American defensive end David Perales (2026-2027) and released American wide receiver Austin Mack.
Theis (5'9", 208 lbs) enjoyed an impressive first season with the team, being named the Alouettes' Rookie of the Year. The 25-year-old carried the ball 70 times for 365 yards. A native of Pratt, Kansas City, he also caught 19 passes for 162 yards.
