February 12, 2026 - EDMONTON - Consistency from the top down is the theme of the Elks 2026 Football Operations and Coaching Staffs. The Elks Football Operations staff led by VP of Football Operations & General Manager Ed Hervey remains completely intact, with Football Operations Assistant Nic Cross and Strength & Conditioning Specialist Danelle Tucker joining the club in a full-time capacity. Elks Ink Robustelli on Opening Day of CFL Free Agency

February 10, 2026 - EDMONTON - Another weapon for Cody Fajardo enters the fray. The Elks have signed American wide receiver Joe Robustelli through the 2026 season, the club announced on Tuesday. Robustelli (6'3, 220) brings more size to the Elks receivers room after having spent the last two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The 28-year-old has a unique path to the pros, having not played organized football for much of his adult life. 2025 Coach of the Year to be Crowned in Edmonton

February 9, 2026 - TORONTO - To officially wrap-up one season and welcome the start of the next, the Canadian Football League is introducing a new event to celebrate the leaders of the game. Ahead of the 2026 CFL Combine in Edmonton from March 27-29, the league will recognize the 2025 recipients of the CFL Coach of the Year, the Hugh Campbell Distinguished Leadership Award, and introduce a new honour - the Ted Goveia Football Operations Award.
