Elks Ink Robustelli on Opening Day of CFL Free Agency

February 10, 2026 - EDMONTON - Another weapon for Cody Fajardo enters the fray. The Elks have signed American wide receiver Joe Robustelli through the 2026 season, the club announced on Tuesday. Robustelli (6'3, 220) brings more size to the Elks receivers room after having spent the last two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. 2025 Coach of the Year to be Crowned in Edmonton

February 9, 2026 - TORONTO - To officially wrap-up one season and welcome the start of the next, the Canadian Football League is introducing a new event to celebrate the leaders of the game. Ahead of the 2026 CFL Combine in Edmonton from March 27-29, the league will recognize the 2025 recipients of the CFL Coach of the Year, the Hugh Campbell Distinguished Leadership Award, and introduce a new honour - the Ted Goveia Football Operations Award. Elks Extend Jacob Plamondon

February 6, 2026 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have extended National fullback Jacob Plamondon through the 2026 season, the club announced Friday. Plamondon (6'3, 225 LBS) returns to Edmonton after spending the previous four seasons in the Green and Gold. Originally a second-round pick (19th overall) by the Elks in 2022, Plamondon has suited up for 51 games from 2022 to 2025 with the Double E - recording 21 special teams tackles playing as both a fullback and a defensive lineman.
