May 17, 2026 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks signed American defensive lineman Brandon "BJ" Thompson II, the club announced Sunday. As a corresponding move, American wide receiver Ife Adeyi has been released. Thompson (6'6, 244) adds more depth to the Elks trenches. The 27-year-old has spent the last three seasons playing pro football, most recently having suited up on the Calgary Stampeders practice roster in 2025. May 16, 2026 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks signed American offensive lineman Erick Cade, the club announced Saturday. Cade (6'7, 345) joins the Green and Gold after spending the previous three seasons at Missouri State (2023-25). He started 32 games for the Bears, suiting up as both a right and left tackle and an offensive guard. He was originally recruited to the Lane Kiffin led Ole Miss Rebels, where he spent two years with the program (2021-22) but did not play in a game.... Full Story

May 14, 2026 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks signed Global kicker Jesus Gomez, the club announced Thursday. In addition, American linebacker Michael Dowell has been added to the retired list. Gomez (6'2, 215) joins the Elks after being selected in the first round (third-overall) in the 2026 CFL Global Draft. The Puebla, Mexico product spent last season (2025-26) at Arizona State, but had attended Eastern Michigan University for four seasons (2021 to 2025). May 13, 2026 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have signed National linebacker Dariel Djabome, the club announced Wednesday. Djabome (6'2, 235) joins the Elks after an excellent four-year career at Rutgers University. The linebacker suited up for 47 games with the Scarlet Knights from 2022 to 2025, where he racked up 192 total tackles (81 solo, 111 assisted), 13 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and a pass defended.
