CF Montréal Acquires Frankie Amaya on Loan from Deportivo Toluca FC
April 2, 2026 - MONTREAL - CF Montréal announced today that it has acquired midfielder Frankie Amaya on loan from Liga MX club Deportivo Toluca FC until the end of the 2026 season.
"Frankie is an experienced midfielder with strong technical skills," said CF Montréal Managing Director, Recruitment and Sporting Methodology Luca Saputo. "His capacity to maintain possession along with his ability to link the defence to offence will provide us with additional options and strengthen our squad."

Victoire Activate Amrbose from LTIR, Return Labad to Reserve Player List
April 1, 2026 - MONTRÉAL - The Montréal Victoire announced on Wednesday that defender Erin Ambrose has been activated from long-term injured reserve (LTIR). In a corresponding move, the team has returned rookie forward Maya Labad to its Reserve Player list.
Ambrose sustained a lower-body injury while representing Canada at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 and has missed the team's last eight games.
