February 5, 2026 - Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced on Thursday that they have signed Montreal-born wide receiver Régis Cibasu to a one-year contract.
Cibasu (6'3", 222 lbs.) suited up for every Alouettes game last season, including the Grey Cup final. The Pointe-Saint-Charles native recorded six special teams tackles and caught 14 passes for 80 yards.
In 2023, he lifted the Grey Cup with his teammates.

Nine of the coaches on this year's staff were part of the 2025 team that reached the Grey Cup Final.
Anthony Calvillo will now call the plays on offense, a task that Jason Maas was doing in the past. A.J. Gass joins the staff as linebackers coach, while Domenico Manno is added to the coaches as an offensive assistant.

February 2, 2026 - Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes have called a press conference to announce that star safety Marc-Antoine Dequoy is retiring from football.
A second-round pick of the Alouettes (14th overall) in the 2020 CFL Draft, Dequoy played 73 games over five seasons with the Alouettes. In 2023 and 2024, he was named an All-CFL helping the team capture the Grey Cup in 2023.
In his career, he recorded 162 defensive tackles, 21 special teams tackles, and 12 interceptions. The 31-year-old also registered three sacks, forced five fum... Full Story
