April 17, 2026 - TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club will call the University of Guelph its home a little longer than usual in 2026. The university has been home to the Argos training camp for the past six years, but with the 2026 FIFA World Cup coming to Toronto this summer, the Boatmen will spend an extra two months in the Royal City.
Rookie camp kicks off May 6 for a three-day camp that includes veteran quarterbacks and first-year CFL players before rosters are cut down to 85. The first practice with veterans will be May 10, ... Full Story
April 10, 2026 - TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today that the team has signed American QB Anthony Guercio and American DL Jalen Bell.
Guercio (5'11"/200lbs) played 28 games at Clarion University (2023-2025), where he completed 344 of 556 passes for 4,743 yards and 37 touchdowns. The Ohio native also added 1,524 yards and 23 more scores on the ground. The pivot was named First Team All-PSAC in 2025. Guercio attended Fairmont State in 2022, where he threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns.

Monios (5'10"/180lbs) attended the University of Maine from 2019 to 2024, where he caught 64 passes for 644 yards and two touchdowns in 47 games. Monios was born in Montreal and went to high school in Connecticut.... Full Story

Smith (6'4"/190lbs) played in the Player's Football Association in 2024 and 2025, a semi-pro football league based in the Midwest. In two seasons, Smith recorded 63 receptions for 1,698 yards and 18 touchdowns. The Detroit, Michigan native played two seasons at the University of Tennessee-Martin (2022-2023), where he tallied three receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown in 20 games.
