January 21, 2025 - There is only one team in baseball that can say soon-to-be inducted Hall of Fame pitcher C.C. Sabathia pitched for them at the Triple-A level and that team is the Buffalo Bisons. 5th Annual Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game Returns to Sahlen Field, May 4

January 3, 2025 - On Sunday, May 4, the only place Bills fans will want to be is Sahlen Field in Buffalo for the return of the 5th Annual Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game as the Bills Defense and Offense square off in a Game and Home Run Derby to benefit the Imagine for Youth Foundation. Tickets for this year's event will be just $35 each (no price increase) and will go on sale on Tuesday, February 4th (10 a.m.) on Bisons.com and at the Sahlen Field Box Office. Spencer Horwitz Part of Trade with Cleveland Guardians

December 11, 2024 - Thursday night the Toronto Blue Jays announced that they acquired 2B Andrés Giménez as part of a trade with the Cleveland Guardians in exchange for INF Spencer Horwitz. Horwitz appeared in 208 total games with the Buffalo Bisons from 2022 to 2024, making his Triple-A debut on July 6, 2022 against the Syracuse Mets. He recorded three hits, going three for four with a pair of doubles against the Mets at Sahlen Field, helping the young infielder finish with a .264 batting average in 44 games. 24th Annual National Buffalo Wing Festival Returns to Sahlen Field

December 11, 2024 - The National Buffalo Wing Festival is heading back to Sahlen Field, its original home located in Downtown Buffalo. After spending the past four years at Highmark Stadium, the festival will return to the home of the Buffalo Bisons - where it all started back in 2002. Wingfest, which was held at Sahlen Field for 19 years until being forced to relocate due to the pandemic will take place Labor Day Weekend on August 30-31 in 2025.
