Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons have announced that their scheduled game against the Worcester Red Sox on Wednesday, September 2 at Sahlen Field has been postponed due to rain and the potential for dangerous weather conditions.
With the safety of fans, players and staff as the utmost top priority, the Bisons have made the difficult decision to cancel the game early enough for fans to avoid the potential dangerous conditions.
Tonight's postponed game will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Friday, September 4 at Sahlen Field. The first of two seven-inning games will begin at 4:05 p.m. and one ticket is all a fan will need for both or either games (fans can enter at any time). All existing tickets for Friday's doubleheader remain valid and the night will remain the team's Meat Raffle Honda fridaynightbash! with OVER 500 lbs of Prizes and winners every inning of BOTH games, presented by Latina Boulevard Foods.
Thursday's game will remain a single game as scheduled (6:05 p.m. first pitch). That game against the Red Sox is the Bisons Harry Potter Night Promotion with a pregame Commemorative Banner Giveaway (5:00 p.m.), a Player Patronus Jersey Raffle and postgame Fireworks, presented by Catholic Health. As a AAA Insurance Thursday Value Night, the game will also feature $10 Tickets for all fans.
Ticket Exchange Information
Fans holding tickets to Wednesday's game can exchange them for a ticket to any remaining 2026 Bisons game. All ticket exchanges must be made at the Sahlen Field Box Office. Please note that these exchanges do not have to be made on Wednesday, September 2. Fans with tickets can exchange them throughout the remainder of the 2026 season.
