January 4, 2021 - American Hockey League President and Chief Executive Officer Scott Howson announced today that the 2020-21 season will include 28 teams when it gets underway on February 5.
The AHL will operate in five divisions this season. Further details, including schedule formats and playoffs, are still to be determined.

October 16, 2020 - The Toronto Marlies announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Tyler Gaudet to a one-year AHL contract.
Gaudet, 27, appeared in 58 games with the Marlies in 2019-20, collecting 21 points (4 goals, 17 assists). The Hamilton, Ontario native has previously skated in 20 career NHL games with the Arizona Coyotes, registering a goal and three assists. In 356 career regular season AHL games, Gaudet has recorded 129 points (43 goals, 86 assists).

October 16, 2020 - The Toronto Marlies announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Scott Sabourin to a one-year AHL contract.
Sabourin, 28, played 35 games with the Ottawa Senators this past season, registering six points (2 goals, 4 assists). In 308 career AHL regular season games between Manchester, Iowa, Ontario, San Diego and Stockton, the Orleans, ON native has recorded 77 points (37 goals, 40 assists).

October 15, 2020 - The Toronto Marlies announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Rich Clune to a one-year AHL contract.
Clune, 33, appeared in 16 games with the Marlies this past season, recording four points (3 goals, 1 assist). In his five seasons with Toronto, he has registered 43 points (18 goals, 25 assists) in 164 regular season games while serving as an alternate captain. The Toronto native has appeared in 20 playoff games for the Marlies, collecting five points (2 goals, 3 assists) and capturing the Calder Cup in 2018.... Full Story
