Austin Sweeps Rio Grande Valley with 118-100 Win

November 24, 2025 - AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs (7-1) defeated the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (3-4), 118-100, on Monday night at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Jayden Nunn led Austin with 27 points, while Stanley Umude added 25, and Micah Potter posted 15 points and 15 rebounds. Trey McGowens also scored 15 for the Spurs. Thompson Selected to Play for Puerto Rico in World Cup Qualifiers

November 24, 2025 - Puerto Rico's national basketball program announced that Sioux Falls Skyforce guard Ethan Thompson will compete in the 2025 FIBA World Cup Americas qualifying window. Thompson is averaging 26.9 points per game on 45.0 percent shooting (36.8 percent from deep on 8.5 attempts), which ranks eighth in the NBA G League and first among players who have appeared in eight or more games this season. South Bay Lakers Guard Kobe Bufkin Earns NBA Call-Up with Memphis Grizzlies

November 24, 2025 - EL SEGUNDO - South Bay Lakers guard Kobe Bufkin has signed a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. The call-up marks the first of the 2025-26 campaign for South Bay and the 57th overall in franchise history. Bufkin was recently acquired by South Bay on Nov. 13. He appeared in two Tip-Off Tournament games for the team this season, averaging 22.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 28.7 minutes. Norchad Omier Joins Team Nicaragua

November 24, 2025 - CLEVELAND, OH - Cleveland Charge C Norchad Omier has been chosen to represent Nicaragua as part of their national team that will play a two-game set against Team USA in qualifiers for the 2027 FIBA Men's World Cup. The two teams will match up this Friday, November 28 in Managua, Nicaragua followed by a second contest in College Park, GA on Monday, December 1.
