June 3, 2026 - Austin jumped out early with three runs in the first inning and added runs in the second, third, fifth, sixth and seventh innings to stay in control.
Danelle Daniels led the Weirdos offense, going 4-for-6 with two doubles, two runs scored and one RBI. Alex Lopez drove in three runs, while Mason Refuerzo added two RBIs.
Austin Sargent went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Sean Tanaka also had two hits and drove in a run as Austin finished with 14 hits.

May 29, 2026 - MARTINEZ, California - The Austin Weirdos defeated the Martinez Sturgeon 6-5, holding off a late Martinez rally to secure the win.
Austin took control in the third inning when Cono Casale blasted a three-run home run, scoring Danelle Daniels and Alex Lopez to give the Weirdos a 3-0 lead.

May 29, 2026 - CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today that the club has signed captain Curtis McKenzie to a one-year AHL contract extension through the 2026-27 season.
McKenzie, 35, returns for his 11^th season in the Stars organization and 14^th season of his professional career after skating in all 72 games for Texas during the 2025-26 campaign. Texas Stars Sign Forward Charlie Paquette
May 20, 2026 - CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today the club signed forward Charlie Paquette to a standard player contract for the 2026-27 season.
Paquette, 20, played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League and recorded 192 points (100-92- 192) in 323 games between Guelph and Brantford.
