January 1, 2026 - The Pecos League has unveiled its 2026 schedule.
All teams will play 54 games in the regular season. 2026 will be the 16th year of Pecos League Play.
The first day of regular season games in the Pacific Division is May 18, 2026.
The first day of regular season games in the Mountain Division is May 27, 2026.
There will be a total of 432 regular season games followed by three rounds of playoffs.
The following teams will host 4th of July Games:

Pecos League: The independent Peco League's California-based Pacific Division will operate with only five teams in 2026 with the recent loss of the Vallejo Seaweed due to issues with its home field. The division had already added the travel-only Austin Weirdos team based in the Bay Area to replace the loss of last season's Monterey Amberjacks and did not want to create another travel-only team as a sixth team to replace Vallejo. Carolina League: The Columbia (SC) Fireflies of the Single-A Carolina League will play three games (July 9-11) during the 2026 season as the Capital City Bombers, which was the name of the city's previous minor league team from 1993 to 2004 before moving to Greenville (SC).

Pecos League: The independent Pecos League announced its 2026 season schedule will again feature 16 teams but with some changes. Last season's alignment featured a six-team California-based Pacific Division and a ten-team Mountain Division further split into a five-team Mountain North and a five-team Mountain South.
