Rox Announce 2019 Coaching Staff

January 9, 2019 - The Colorado Rockies have announced the Grand Junction Rockies coaching staff for the 2019 season. Jake Opitz will be returning to helm the team for his second season in Grand Junction. He will be joined by rookie level development supervisor Andy Gonzalez, hitting coach Zach Osborne, pitching coach Blaine Beatty, and trainer John Duff. GJ Rockies Release 2019 Schedule

November 8, 2018 - The Grand Junction Rockies have announced and released its schedule for the 2019 season. The Rockies will start the 2019 season on the road with a four-game series against the Ogden Raptors before returning for the home opener on June 18th against Colorado Springs. October 25, 2018 - Today, the Pioneer Baseball League announced that Grand Junction Rockies President Joe Kubly has been named the 2018 PBL Executive Of The Year. Joe leads a front office team that has increased attendance, sponsorships, and concessions sales in each of the three years of his tenure. Great Falls Crowned Pioneer League Champions

September 14, 2018 - It was a cold and rainy night as the Grand Junction Rockies and Great Falls Voyagers did battle. However, it was the Voyagers that claimed a 6-4 victory to win the Pioneer League crown at Centene Stadium Thursday night.
