Wild Things Make Splash, Bring Back Anthony Brocato, Top 5 HR Hitter in FL History
December 30, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have made a splash in free agency, bolstering the middle of the lineup with the signing of outfielder Anthony Brocato, who played for the Wild Things in the back end of 2022 before being named a Frontier League Postseason All Star in 2023 with the team. Brocato left the Frontier League after 2023 before returning mid-2025 to the Florence Y'alls on a one-year deal, quickly returning to form as one of the biggest sluggers in league history.

Slugger Andrew Czech Set for Sixth Season in Washington
December 29, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - Having had his contract exercised prior to the turn of the new league year on December 15, 2022, Frontier League All Star and Wild Things' home-run king Andrew Czech has committed to a return to the team in 2026. It'll be the first baseman's sixth season in pro ball, all of which have been in a Wild Things' uniform.

Marman Headed Overseas
December 24, 2025 - SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Sioux City Explorers announced today that right-handed pitcher Kyle Marman has been signed by the eight-time and reigning Taiwan Series Champions, the Rakuten Monkeys of the Chinese Professional Baseball League. The Florida native is the second player transferred this offseason, and he leaves the Explorers with a long line of success both as a closer in 2024 and as a staff ace as a starter in 2025.
