Evansville Trades Baez to Atlantic League's Road Warriors

February 20, 2018 - EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Evansville Otters have finalized a deal to send right-handed pitcher Felix Baez to the Road Warriors of the Atlantic League for a player to be named later. "Felix has been a huge part of the Otters' success the last two seasons," Otters manager Andy McCauley said. "He has been given an opportunity to play closer to family and he wants to challenge himself in the Atlantic league. "We wish him the best of luck." February 20, 2018 - WICHITA, Kans. - The Wichita Wingnuts added a significant piece to the middle of their order on Tuesday, signing veteran slugger Luis Jimenez. Jimenez's resume features 17 professional seasons, split primarily between minor league and international competition. The 35-year old is a career .290 hitter over more than 1,600 games, notching 252 home runs and 1,059 RBI.
