Miners Hammer Three More Home Runs, Outlast ValleyCats 9-8
June 4, 2026 - The Sussex County Miners (8-14) defeated their Atlantic North rivals, the Tri-City ValleyCats (7-15), 9-8 on Thursday afternoon at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, New York.
After a scoreless top of the first, Miners starting pitcher Jackson Balzan (1-1) retired all three ValleyCats he faced. Sussex County quickly gave Balzan two runs of support with an RBI double from third baseman Dean Ferrara and an RBI single from right fielder Gabriel Maciel in the second inning.

Homers Power Titans to Much-Needed Victory
June 4, 2026 - Ottawa, ON - The Ottawa Titans (12-11) broke their five-game losing streak with an 8-3 win over the New York Boulders (13-10) on Thursday afternoon, avoiding the sweep.
Caiden Johnson (ND, 0-0) looked sharp to start the game, going three up, three down, getting all 4,200+ fans on their feet.
Johnson's command looked iffy in the second, as with two outs, he would issue three consecutive walks to load the bases. The Titans would get out of the bases-loaded jam on an impressive pickoff, catching the runners asleep.

C Andrew Semo Returns from Injured List
June 4, 2026 - EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Mississippi Mud Monsters have announced the activation of catcher Andrew Semo from the 7-Day Injured List.
Semo was struck in the face during Mississippi's May 27 home game against the Tri-City ValleyCats.
Tri-City's starter Gino Sabatine lost control of a pitch during Semo's first plate appearance of the evening, forcing the Mud Monsters backstop to leave the game and receive medical treatment.

June 4, 2026 - (Gary, IN) Back for the second game at Lewis and Clark Park in Sioux City, Iowa, the Gary SouthShore RailCats were set for the middle matchup against the Sioux City Explorers after the RailCats won 6-2 Tuesday.
Peyton Long, the starter for the RailCats and Peniel Otano who started for the X's traded zeros through the first two innings. But in the bottom of the third Dillon Thomas smashed a home run over the left field wall to make it 1-0.
