Explorers Strike First in I-29 Rivarly
June 9, 2026 - SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Sioux City (11-13) gave up an early lead, grabbed it right back, and never looked back in the first matchup of the season against I - 29 rival Sioux Falls (12-12) with an 8-2 win on Tuesday night at Lewis & Clark Park.
Manager Steve Montgomery praised his club's approach afterward. "We have to continue to be patient. We kept the speed up and kept getting production up and down the lineup."

June 9, 2026 - PEARL, MISS. - Tyler Campbell shined in his Frontier League debut as the Mississippi Mud Monsters (11-17) defeated the Joliet Slammers (10-17) by a 4-2 final score.
Campbell last pitched on June 2 for the Santa Fe Fuego of the Pecos League, tossing a complete game against the Pecos Bills while allowing one run and striking out eight across nine innings.

June 9, 2026 - Ottawa, ON - Riding a four-run first inning, the Ottawa Titans (15-12) did not look back in an 8-3 win over the Brockton Rox (12-14) on Tuesday night.
The Titans got to Rox starting pitcher Tyler Thornton (loss, 1-2) early as Myles Smith would clear the bases on a two-run double, bringing in Chris Davis and AJ Wright, making it 2-0. The inning would continue as Smith would score via an error from shortstop Nick Marola, and Daniel McElveny would drive in a run, making it 4-0.

June 9, 2026 - FLORENCE, KY - The Florence Y'alls (16-12) took down the New Jersey Jackals 17-12 at home on Tuesday night.
Casey Bargo made his Florence debut after being acquired in a trade with the Brockton Rox for a player to be named later.
