Haymarket Park Named 'Playing Surface of the Year' for 22nd Time

September 22, 2023 - LINCOLN, Nebraska - Haymarket Park has been voted as the American Association's 'Playing Surface of the Year' for the 22nd time, the league has announced. September 21, 2023 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A walk off base hit from Kansas City Monarchs first baseman Brian O'Grady secured the 2023 Miles Wolff Cup Finals with a 7-6 win over the Chicago Dogs at Legends Field Wednesday night. Hernandez Homer Leads Monarchs to Game 3 Win

September 19, 2023 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A three-run blast from Kansas City Monarchs' left fielder Jan Hernandez propelled them to a 9-6 win over the Chicago Dogs at Legends Field Tuesday night. The Monarchs take a 2-1 series lead in the best-of-five Wolff Cup Finals. Game 4 is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Legends Field tomorrow night. Curtis Haug Named 2023 AAPB Executive of the Year

September 18, 2023 - GENEVA, Ill. - The American Association of Professional Baseball announced Monday that Cougars General Manager and Vice President Curtis Haug was named the 2023 AAPB Executive of the Year. Haug joined the Cougars organization in 1993. Over the years he worked in many roles with the team including stints in ticket sales, sponsorship sales and promotions.
