Croes Headed to Giants' Organization

April 30, 2025 - WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced Wednesday that the contract of two-time American Association post-season All-Star Dayson Croes has been transferred to the San Francisco Giants. Croes (pronounced KROOZ) becomes the 88th player in Goldeyes history to make the jump to the affiliated minor leagues. The 25-year-old was named the league's Rookie Position Player of the Year following the 2023 season and has represented the Goldeyes in the league's All-Star Game in each of his two seasons as a professional. Malone Signs with Saltdogs

April 28, 2025 - Lincoln, Nebraska - Luke Malone, a 6'3", 210-pound right-handed pitcher, has signed to play for the Lincoln Saltdogs, in 2025. A native of Round Rock, Texas, Malone spent the last two seasons with the Boise Hawks, in the Pioneer League. After 22 relief stints for the Hawks in 2023, Malone started all 19 of his appearance for Boise, in 2024. Denning Signs with Lincoln

April 26, 2025 - Lincoln, Nebraska - The Lincoln Saltdogs have announced the signing of Infielder Connor Denning. A 5'11", 205-pound switch-hitting infielder, Denning will begin his first season with Lincoln, in 2025. A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Denning played his college ball at Campbell University, in the Big South Conference. With Campbell, Denning hit .319 with 24 home runs and 99 runs batted in through 116 games over three seasons for the Fighting Camels. April 25, 2025 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A Triple-A arm with wipeout stuff has joined the Kansas City Monarchs' pitching staff. Tyler McKay, a Kansas City area native, is joining the Monarchs from the Phillies organization. The former Kansas State Wildcat earned a 2.28 ERA in 2024, splitting the season between Double-A Reading and Triple-A Lehigh Valley in the Phillies system.
