Keon Barnum Selected as American Association MVP

September 3, 2019 - ROSEMONT, Ill. - Dogs first baseman Keon Barnum has been named the American Association's Most Valuable Player for the 2019 season, the league announced Tuesday. Barnum pieced together a magical - and historic - 2019 campaign, his first in the league. With 31 home runs, he broke the American Association's single-season home run record, previously held by C.J. September 2, 2019 - ROSEMONT, Ill. - Chicago Dogs slugger Victor Roache was named the American Association's Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. The honor is Roache's third this season, previously earning the award on August 4th and June 3rd. Additionally, this is the seventh time on the year that a Dogs player earned Player of the Week honors.
