June 14, 2025 - SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - The Mississippi Mud Monsters scored three insurance runs late to post a 6-2 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers at Wintrust Field on Saturday night. The Boomers sent a spot starter to the mound in Isaiah Rivera who struck out four in two innings. Mississippi struck for three runs in the third on only one hit. Cook and Boomers Blank Mississippi

June 13, 2025 - SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Cole Cook struck out 12 in a complete game shutout as the Schaumburg Boomers blanked the Mississippi Mud Monsters 4-0 in the first ever meeting between the teams at Wintrust Field on Friday night. The Boomers gave Cook all the support he would need in the first inning. Andrew Sojka and Anthony Calarco singled and Kyle Fitzgerald smacked a double to open the scoring. Washington Pulls Away from Boomers

June 12, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things hit three homers and scored eight runs in the eighth inning to pull away from the Schaumburg Boomers and win the series finale 12-1. Washington opened the scoring in the first and did not look back. The lone run for the Boomers came in the fourth. Christian Fedko doubled and scored on a double play. Contract of Matos Sold to Guardians

June 12, 2025 - SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - It is with great pleasure that the Schaumburg Boomers announce that the contract of pitcher Dwayne Matos has been purchased by the Cleveland Guardians. Matos started six games with the Boomers this season and posted a record of 3-1 with a 3.86 ERA. The last outing for the right-hander was a complete game shutout of the Windy City ThunderBolts on June 7.
