Jailyn Ford Named to James Madison Hall of Fame

March 2, 2026 - James Madison University announced the 2026 Hall of Fame Class that will honor seven athletes, including softball standout Jailyn Ford. Ford was a two-way star for the Dukes from 2013-2016, who changed the direction of the program and was one of many firsts. In her four seasons, the program was 185-48 (.794) compared to the previous decade of a winning percentage just above .500. Ali Newland Uses "anything But a Tee" to Get Creative in Her Training

March 2, 2026 - "I hate it. I am so bored," Ali Newland laughed. She's referencing a tee, the piece of baseball and softball equipment most people take their first swing off of. It's a foundational part of learning the mechanics of hitting and the earliest form of development to play. But as a professional, Newland is over it. Korbe Otis Commits to University of Florida Medical School

February 20, 2026 - Korbe Otis' dual success on the softball field and in the classroom has been the story of the outfielder's career. As a student-athlete at the University of Florida, Otis pursued a challenging bachelor's degree in biology while becoming an NFCA First Team All-American. Alyssa Denham's Return to the Circle After Breaking Her Back

February 19, 2026 - In June 2024, Alyssa Denham went to field a routine ground ball when a sudden tweak in her back didn't feel great. She played through a short, three-week season of professional softball in Wichita, Kansas, as the injury progressed.
