June 24, 2026 - "My rookie outing wasn't good either." It's hard to imagine legendary pitcher Cat Osterman struggled on her first day as a pro. She had already become an Olympic gold medalist by then. But that's exactly why she confided this to rookie NiJaree Canady. Volts Homer Five Times in Momentous Win over Bandits

June 24, 2026 - The Texas Volts needed something, anything, to go their way. And when the momentum shifted on Tuesday night, the team turned the tide with home runs. Four different athletes left the yard five times in the team's 6-2 victory over the Chicago Bandits at Dell Diamond, ending a six-game losing streak. The third-place finishers of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League's (AUSL) inaugural season added young talent to a veteran core during the 2026 AUSL College Draft. Volts Sign Georgia Outfielder Jaydyn Goodwin

May 29, 2026 - The Texas Volts signed Jaydyn Goodwin for the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League season. Goodwin was a four-year starter at the University of Georgia. She primarily played left field but also had starts in the infield and as a designated player. She recorded a career fielding percentage of .983, and her offensive numbers grew every season.
