Pirates Sign QB Paxton DeLaurent

January 24, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League have signed quarterback Paxton DeLaurent for the 2026 season. DeLaurent most recently took part in Rookie Minicamp with the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League in 2025. The 6'5", 229 lb. signalcaller from Southeast Missouri State University had a 2024 season that was one for the Big South - Ohio Valley Conference record books as he was Offensive Player of the Year. Orozco and Huggins Return to Jax

January 23, 2026 - Jacksonville, FL - The Sharks welcome back K Marc Orozco and DB John Huggins to the Tank for the upcoming 2026 season. Orozco returns after announcing his retirement in the 2025 season, deciding to lace up the cleats once again. After an injury-shortened 2023-24 season, Orozco (5'9, 180 lbs) returned as th e Sharks kicker in 2025. In the one game Orozco appeared in the 2025 season, made 4 deuces and went 4/4 on PATs. Blizzard Sign Quarterback Demilon Brown for the 2026 Season

January 22, 2026 - The Green Bay Blizzard have officially signed quarterback Demilon Brown for the 2026 season. Demilon Brown, a quarterback from Wilson, Arkansas, signs with the Green Bay Blizzard. Standing at 6-foot-1-inches and 215 pounds, he is an Indoor Football League rookie. Despite his rookie ranking, Brown has vast playing experience. Patrick Barrett Named Offensive Line Coach

January 22, 2026 - Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, a proud member of the IFL and powered by Community Care, names Patrick Barrett as the team's Offensive Line Coach for the 2026 season. Barrett, officially joined the Tulsa coaching staff in 2026 after retiring following the 2025 season. From 2023-25, the former lineman started 32 games at center for the Tulsa Oilers.
