February 28, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League have announced its coaching staff for the 2026 season. Rob Keefe was officially announced on November 17, 2025 as the ninth Head Coach in the history of the Pirates and the first to lead the team in Orlando. This is the fifth head coaching opportunity for Keefe, who has won three previous titles as a head coach. He will also serve as Defensive Coordinator. February 23, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League have signed defensive back Dexter Lawson for the 2026 season. The 5'10'' 190-pound DB is a former Second-team All-NEC player who has years of Canadian Football League experience. Lawson began his collegiate career at Central Connecticut before taking his talents to Appalachian State. Pirates Sign Running Back Dewayne McBride for the 2026 Season

February 22, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League have signed running back Dewayne McBride for the 2026 season. The 24-year-old is a Florida native who was selected No. 222 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. McBride attended Vanguard High School en route to his collegiate career. He went on to be named the 2022 Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year as he rushed for 1,713 yards and finished the season with 19 touchdowns.
