March 18, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League have signed defensive lineman Zykeius Strong for the 2026 season. Strong made quite an impression on the entire coaching staff at the Pirates open tryout. "Zykeius really showed out," head coach Rob Keefe said. "Not only did he perform well but he looked the part too. He had quality reps in college against high level opponents. Sometimes scouts at higher levels miss out on really good talent. Pirates Sign Darta Lee

March 14, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League have signed offensive lineman Darta Lee for the 2026 season. Lee stands 6'4'' 325-pounds and has been honing his craft in the Canadian Football League. The 27-year old is a Texas native who was able to play at AT&T Stadium during high school. No moment was too big for Lee as he went on to become the first true freshman to start on the offensive line for Illinois' season opener in the last 20 seasons. March 11, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - Copeland brings experience from three professional leagues to the Pirates including four stops in the National Football League. A native of Pensacola, FL, the former wideout with the Florida Gators and the Maryland Terrapins signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans in 2023. March 11, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed wide receiver Dante Wright. Wright, who played in 46 collegiate games with Colorado State and Temple University, signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League last season and went to Rookie Minicamp. During his college career Wright pulled in 221 receptions for 2,995 yards with 17 touchdowns. He also ran 76 times for 267 yards with two scores.
