January 5, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have re-signed wide receiver Thomas Owens for the 2026 season. Owens is the most decorated receiver in Pirates history. The owner of eight All-Time regular season records and seven All-Time playoff marks, Owens will join the team for his seventh season with the franchise. In just his first season in the Indoor Football League, Williams Jr. won the 2025 rushing title and was an All-IFL Second Team selection. In 13 games, the former star running back at the University of Kansas led the league with 201 carries, a Pirates single-season record, for an IFL best 795 yards. December 28, 2025 - The Orlando Pirates have added significant firepower to their 2026 roster with the signings of wide receivers Teo Redding and Thomas Owens, running back Pooka Williams Jr., and kicker Axel Perez.
Redding (6'3, 190 lbs) enters his fourth season with the franchise and has started 29 of the 31 games he has played. In his Pirates career, he has recorded 105 receptions for 1,291 yards and 26 touchdowns, while adding 42 rushing yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. The 6'3", 280 lb. former undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League started nine games for the Pirates last season and had 26 tackles with 8.5 for a loss and 5.5 sacks, which tied him for eighth in the league.
