Duno Named FSL MVP; Stafura and Sanchez Tabbed All-Stars

September 16, 2025 - DAYTONA BEACH, Fla - Catcher Alfredo Duno was named Florida State League Most Valuable Player while infielders Carlos Sanchez and Sammy Stafura were also named to the postseason FSL All-Star team on Tuesday. Duno was also named catcher on the postseason All-Star team and was tabbed as the circuit's top MLB prospect. September 14, 2025 - DAYTONA BEACH, Fla - The Daytona Tortugas were held to just one hit as the Lakeland Flying Tigers moved one win away from a Florida State League championship by defeating Daytona 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Tortugas Twirl Two-Hitter to Punch Ticket to FSL Championship

September 12, 2025 - PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla- Alfredo Alcantara homered and four pitchers combined on a two-hit shutout as the Daytona Tortugas shut out the St. Lucie Mets 2-0 to win the deciding Game 3 of the Florida State League East Division Series and advance to the FSL Championship Series. Daytona (2-1) did not allow a run over the final 17.0 innings of the innings as the Tortugas rebounded from a home loss on Wednesday to win two games at St. Lucie (1-2).
