Orlando Pride Midfielder Joanna Fennema Announces Retirement

February 28, 2020 - ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando Pride midfielder Joanna Fennema, formerly Boyles, has announced her retirement from professional soccer, stepping away from the game due to a chronic back injury. NWSL Names Lisa Baird as Commissioner

February 27, 2020 - Chicago - The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) has named Lisa Baird as the new Commissioner, the league announced today. In her role, Baird will be responsible for overseeing all operations for the league and NWSL Media with a focus on growing revenues and audience while elevating the profile of the league globally. February 26, 2020 - CHICAGO -- U.S. Women's National Team head coach Vlatko Andonovski has named the 23-player tournament roster for the 2020 SheBelieves Cup. Chicago Red Stars defenders Tierna Davidson, Casey Short, midfielder Julie Ertz, and goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher were named to the roster.
