Thorns FC Midfielder Angela Salem Undergoes Successful Surgery for Knee Injury

June 14, 2019 - PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC announced today that midfielder Angela Salem has undergone successful surgery at Sports Medicine Oregon to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her left knee. Salem will conduct her rehabilitation with Thorns FC sports medicine staff at Providence Park and at the Providence Sports Care Center and will miss the remainder of the 2019 season.
