January 10, 2019 - CHICAGO - Portland Thorns FC selected midfielder Emily Ogle from Penn State University in the third round (No. 24 overall) of the 2019 NWSL College Draft on Thursday at McCormick Place in Chicago. In two separate trades, Portland acquired the Washington Spirit's natural second-round pick in the 2020 NWSL College Draft and the 31st pick overall in 2019 in exchange for the 17th overall pick in 2019.
