June 19, 2026 - The Portland Cascade made a little history Thursday night, thanks to a no-doubt solo blast from Tori Vidales in front of a sold-out home crowd. With two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning, Vidales connected on a 2-2 pitch from Oklahoma City Spark starter Maya Johnson, sending it over the left-field wall for the first home run hit by a Cascade player at Hillsboro Ballpark. The team not only made their Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) debut, but it's exceeded far beyond your run-of-the-mill milestones. Rookie Kenzie Brown Sets a League Record with 10 Strikeouts in Her Second Win

June 15, 2026 - Kenzie Brown has arrived, and she's here to baffle hitters. The rookie pitcher out of Arizona State threw a complete game in the Cascades' 2-1 win over the Talons on Sunday and set a new league record along the way. After allowing a walk to open the game, she retired 10 straight Utah batters, and across seven frames of work, she established a new AUSL regular-season, single-game record with 10 strikeouts.
