February 9, 2026 - PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Timbers2 have signed midfielder Lucas Fernandez-Kim to an MLS NEXT Pro contract, the club announced today. Fernandez-Kim, 22, was selected by the Timbers in the third round (No. 75 overall) of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft. In 2025, Fernandez-Kim played at Oregon State, where he recorded 17 appearances (all starts) for the Beavers. January 28, 2026 - PORTLAND, Ore. - Timbers2 have signed goalkeeper Sam Joseph, midfielder Justin McLean and forward Colin Griffith ahead of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season, the club announced today. Joseph signs with T2 after a trial invite to preseason camp, while McLean and Griffith earn contracts with the team following their selections in MLS SuperDraft 2026. January 28, 2026 - PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Timbers2 have named Jack Cassidy as head coach ahead of the 2026 season, the club announced today. Cassidy becomes T2's third head coach of its MLS NEXT Pro era. Cassidy, 35, joins T2 with nearly 15 years of coaching and development experience across four countries in Europe and the Middle East. January 23, 2026 - PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Timbers2 have signed forward Benjamin Barjolo from USL Championship side Orange County SC, the club announced today. Barjolo, 18, signs with T2 following a two-year spell at Orange County SC where he made 21 appearances across all competitions. Most recently, the Lawrenceville, Georgia, native completed a short-term loan at USL League One side Union Omaha where he recorded a goal in five appearances.
